41st Annual ARSC Conference (Milwaukee, Wisconsin, May 2 - 5, 2007)

Exhibitors and Vendors

Approximately 200 people attended our 2006 meeting in Seattle, and we expect to well surpass that number in 2007. As usual, all coffee breaks (and the Silent Auction) will be held in the exhibit area, thereby ensuring a steady flow of conference registrants. We will also have a separate room available for vendors who wish to conduct private showings of audio equipment or software packages.

Exhibiting at the ARSC Conference is an excellent way to showcase your products and services to archivists, libraries, sound engineers and collectors. Exhibitors will also be listed in the conference program.

Exhibits will be open from Thursday morning through Friday evening. The room will be staffed during the day and secured at night.

Books, recordings, and other materials can be exhibited in a variety of ways:

  • Traditional 6' tables are available for publishers and exhibitors who wish to send representatives. The cost is $150 for the first table and $50 for each additional table. The conference registration fee is waived for one representative.
  • For publishers who would like to send materials without a representative, we can set up tables for you. The books will be sold in the Silent Auction, with proceeds going to ARSC. The cost is $75 for a half table, $100 for a full tableand $50 for each additional table.
  • Publishers or authors who want to display single books may do so at a cost of $15 per book. These books will also be sold in the Silent Auction.
  • Businesses may also purchase advertisements in the official Conference Program and/or provide inserts for the conference registration packets.

A special table will be reserved to display ARSC members’ publications free of charge.
