Welcome to AMP!

ARSC's Media and Publications Datbase (AMP!) is a searchable database of over 2000 articles, reviews, and columns published in the ARSC Journal since 1967!

The database also includes over 500 audio and video recordings of ARSC Conference presentations and ARSC Continuing Education Webinars! Many accompanying slide presentations are also available!

ARSC Journal

ARSC Journal, Vol. 1 (1967) to the current issue are available on the ARSC website as full text PDF files. Current ARSC membership is required to dowload full text PDFs of articles dating back to Vol. 27 (1996). Full text PDFs of volumes 1 (1967) to 26 (1995) are available to the general public.

The ARSC Journal is also available online through the following subscription databases: International Index to Music Periodicals Full Text and International Index to Performing Arts Full Text (via ProQuest, by subscription, 1998-present); Wilson Omnifile Mega and Wilson Omnifile Select (via Ebsco, by subscription, 2005-present); and Academic OneFile (via Gale, 2008-present). Check your local public or university library for availability.

ARSC Conference Recordings and Slide Presentations

ARSC has a long tradition of recording conference sessions.  We recognize the research value these recordings have to offer and take pride in making them available to our community.  When possible, slide presentations are included. Current ARSC membership is required to dowload recordings back to 2011. Recordings from 1994 to 2010 are available to the general public.

ARSC Continuing Education Webinars

The Education & Training Committee presents webinars on topics relating to collecting and managing recorded sound collections. All webinar recordings are available to the public.
