Information for Contributors: ARSC Newsletter
The newsletter is ARSC's bulletin board.
All members are encouraged to contribute the following:
- Committee or member news and updates
- Short articles on recorded sound events, topics, projects
- Reports on ARSC grant-funded projects
- Announcements of research, grant projects, and publications
- Announcements of positions, internships, and training opportunities
- Upcoming events
- Letters to the editor
Please submit contributions by the following dates:
February 1 for winter issue
June 1 for summer issue
October 1 for fall issue
Accompanying credited images or graphics are encouraged and should be submitted in electronic format at 300 dpi or greater.
E-mail your contribution as a Microsoft Word document to Editor Maya Edmond.
Contributions are selected for publication based on their relevance to the greater ARSC community. Contributions are edited for grammar, spelling, and punctuation. In addition, the editors reserve the right to edit contributions for length and clarity.
By submitting contributions for publication, authors guarantee the submission is not libelous and does not infringe upon or interfere with the rights of any person or entity, including without limitation rights of privacy. It is understood that the author assumes full responsibility for securing in writing (in advance of publication) all necessary permissions to quote from copyrighted sources and/or reproduce copyrighted photographs or other illustrative material so protected. The author agrees to furnish the editors with copies of said written permission.
