38th Annual ARSC/SAM
Conference (Cleveland, Ohio, March 10-14, 2004)
Exhibitor Information
The Exhibit Room will be one of the liveliest spots at the ARSC-SAM
Conference with both the exhibits and the SAM Silent Auction in full
swing. The large room reserved for the exhibits is open from Thursday
morning through Saturday afternoon. It is staffed at all times and free
coffee is provided.
Books, recordings, and other materials can be exhibited in a variety
of ways:
- Traditional 6' tables are available for publishers and exhibitors
who wish to send representatives. The cost is $150 for the first table
and $50 for each additional table. The conference registration fee
is waived for one representative.
- For publishers who would like to send materials without a representative,
we will staff the tables for you. The books will be sold on the last
day of the conference with the proceeds going to the Society's Student
Travel Endowment. The cost is $150 for a fulltable and $100 for a
half table.
- Publishers or authors who want to display single books may do so
at a cost of $10 per book. The books are sold on the last day of the
conference with the proceeds going to the Society for American Music
Student Travel Endowment.
A special table will be reserved to display ARSC and SAM members’
publications free of charge.
Exhibiting at the ARSC-SAM Conference is an excellent way to show your
products and services to approximately 300-350 individuals who will
be attending. Exhibitors are also listed in the program and on the web
site.
Publishers, composers, or individuals who wish to exhibit should contact
James R. Hines jhines@cnu.edu, Conference Manager, or via telephone
at (757) 594-7730.
